Defence and Martyrs’ Day Events Continue in Peshawar Educational Institutions

Events organized by the Pakistan Army in connection with Defence and Martyrs’ Day are continuing at educational institutions across Peshawar.

Special events were held at Government Aiman Shaheed Higher Secondary School and Mother Care Montessori School. Similar programs were also organized at Government Centennial Model School, Smart High School Gulberg Campus and Hayatabad Model School.

Events were also held at Government Zia-ul-Islam High School for Boys, Pakistan Air Foundation School System and other educational institutions.

Students took part in national songs, tableaus and speech competitions during the events. They presented patriotic songs and colourful tableaus, receiving appreciation from the audience.

Students and teachers paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defence of the country. In their speeches, students praised the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army’s martyrs and expressed their love for Pakistan.

Pakistan Army officers and soldiers also attended the events and encouraged the students. The students joined the army personnel in flag-hoisting ceremonies and reaffirmed their love and commitment to the country.

At the end of the events, prizes were distributed among students who showed outstanding performance in various competitions.
