Canada Advises Citizens to Avoid Afghanistan Amid Security Concerns

According to the Canadian government, terrorist groups remain active in Afghanistan and could target foreigners, journalists and other civilians.

International experts say the Taliban continue to face criticism over their failure to meet international commitments, which has contributed to growing distance between the regime and the international community.

The United States, United Kingdom and several other countries have also issued strict travel warnings for Afghanistan.
