Iran’s Araghchi Holds Talks With Saudi, Turkish Ministers Over Hormuz

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi talk over the most recent Strait of Hormuz condition in distinct phone calls with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The talks took place amid rising regional tensions and efforts to restore security and stability in the strategic waterway.

According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the officials discussed regional developments and recent diplomatic efforts aimed at “establishing stability in the region and ending insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz.” Tehran attributed the insecurity to what it described as “aggressive actions by the United States.” The Strait remains a crucial route for global oil shipments, while recent military confrontations and attacks on vessels have increased concerns over maritime security and energy supplies.
