Sindh Citizens Demand New Administrative Units

Sindh, like other parts of the country, is seeing growing calls from citizens for the creation of new administrative units and provinces.

Supporters say new administrative units are needed to improve governance, promote regional development and ensure a more balanced distribution of resources.

Citizens in Sindh believe that creating new units could help resolve public issues more quickly and improve the delivery of basic services.

They said many areas of interior Sindh still lack basic facilities such as electricity, water, gas, roads and hospitals. Some citizens also complained that development work, including the construction of roads, hospitals and schools, has not been sufficient.

Citizens said new administrative units could improve education, healthcare and infrastructure and may also help reduce the burden of rising prices.

They added that a new administrative framework could ensure a fairer distribution of resources and improve public service delivery across the province.
