Yasir Hussain Says He Has No Problem Being Known Through Wife Iqra Aziz

A famous actor, writer and director of Pakistan showbiz, Yasir Hussain talk about his view of marriage, man roles, and his wife Iqra Aziz’s success, who is also a very talented actress, saying he has no problem being known for his connection to his wife.

There is a video from a podcast interview of Yasir Hussain has widely spread on social media, where Yasir talk about the society norms, and raised concern about traditional idea about masculinity and saying society often created a different  between being ‘weak’ and ‘strong.’

Addressing this concern, Yasir said a man should not feel less confident simply because his wife has achieved greater success. Further said he would not mind being recognized because of Iqra. He clarified that he has sufficient confidence in himself and perceives nothing wrong with a woman being more prosperous or better known than her husband.

Yasir also addressed Iqra’s use of his surname on Instagram. He make clear that her certified name remains Iqra Aziz and said she picked to use “Hussain” on Instagram herself. He anxious that he never asked her to change her name.
