Pezeshkian Says Iran Will Never Surrender to US and Israel

Pezeshkian Calls for Comprehensive Peace, Regional Unity in West Asia
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said the Iranian people will never surrender or bow before their enemies, despite mounting pressure from the United States and Israel.
Addressing an event in New Delhi, Pezeshkian said Iran was successfully confronting pressure from both countries and would not accept threats or coercion.
He warned that if Iran was pushed further, Tehran would respond accordingly.
Pezeshkian Questions Attacks on Civilians
Strongly criticising US and Israeli military actions, the Iranian president said 168 schoolchildren were martyred in a single attack, while Iran was subsequently being described as a terrorist state.
Pezeshkian questioned who should answer for the killing of civilians, saying those responsible for attacks on innocent people should themselves explain their actions.
He also questioned why scientists, schools and hospitals were being targeted during the conflict.
“If you have the courage, fight only the military and military personnel,” he said, according to the statement.
Iran Rejects Pressure and Surrender
Pezeshkian also questioned attacks on Iran’s infrastructure, employment opportunities and sources of income.
He said targeting civilian infrastructure was affecting the daily lives of ordinary people and creating additional economic pressure on the population.
The Iranian president reiterated that the Iranian people would not surrender and would continue to resist external pressure.
