Scooby-Doo: Origins: Netflix Reveals Major Update Ahead of 2027 Release

Scooby-Doo: Origins has wrapped production and getting closer to marking its return to screen as Netflix announced on Sunday, September 13, that its upcoming live-action series scheduled to premiere globally on the streaming platform in 2027.

The series will come up with a contemporary twist, a famous mystery-solving group and their beloved Great Dane. The story centers on Shaggy and Daphne longtime friends as they get on on their last summer at camp together. Their lives are rotated upside down when Shaggy and Daphne notice a lost Great Dane puppy who may perhaps hold hints to a supernatural murder.

Together, Shaggy and Daphne are joined by Velma, a practical science enthusiast, and Fred, a newcomer who remains an enigma. The group sets out altogether to discover the reality while dealing with a mystery that could depiction their cordial mysteries.

The series was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia, and starred Mckenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones.

The most surprising thing of this series is Scooby-Doo himself. The franchise first time displays a real Great Dane. The released teaser from Netflix previous shows a real puppy from Scooby’s point of view, a 21-second teaser depicted that Scooby explores Camp Ruby-Spears before meeting a young Shaggy.
