He argued that the ruling would cause significant financial losses and complained that the court had not made clear that money already collected under the tariffs would not have to be returned.

The US president further described the Supreme Court’s ruling concerning birthright citizenship as a “complete disaster” for the country, claiming that the existing system had enabled widespread abuse and corruption in citizenship matters. Trump said some justices had failed to demonstrate the courage he believed was necessary to protect the United States, intensifying his criticism of the judiciary and its recent rulings.
