PM’s Fuel Relief Scheme to Go Nationwide at 11:59pm on September 16

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting on Wednesday to review the administrative follow-up of the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Scheme.

Ishaq Dar stressed that the registration process must remain simple and accessible to ensure maximum benefit reaches the intended beneficiaries.

He directed the relevant authorities to ensure effective public outreach and smooth implementation of the scheme at petrol stations.

In line with the Prime Minister’s directions, the deputy prime minister urged elected representatives to disseminate information about the scheme and facilitate the registration process.

He also directed that volunteers from the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme be engaged in public outreach and registration activities.

The meeting was informed that the scheme was already operational in Islamabad and would be rolled out across Pakistan at 11:59 p.m. on September 16, 2026.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Minister for IT, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Minister of State for Finance, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Secretary IT and members of the National Assembly from Islamabad Capital Territory.
