Ishaq Dar Meets UNGA President Khalilur Rahman in New York

New York: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met President of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Dr. Khalilur Rahman, on the sidelines of UNGA 81 in New York.

Ishaq Dar congratulated Dr. Khalilur Rahman on assuming the presidency and assured him of Pakistan’s support and constructive engagement.

Both sides reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to multilateralism and the central role of the United Nations. They also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.

The deputy prime minister expressed confidence in the leadership of the President of the General Assembly and assured Pakistan’s continued engagement in advancing the work of the General Assembly.
