Pakistan Single Window Integrates With Hong Kong Customs ValidAP Platform

Pakistan has taken another step towards digitising cross-border trade after Pakistan Single Window (PSW) joined Hong Kong Customs’ ValidAP digital verification platform.

The integration will enable digital verification of the authenticity and validity of electronic trade documents issued through Pakistan Single Window.

Under the system, traders and customs authorities can verify electronic documents without transferring or storing the original documents or sensitive information on the ValidAP platform.

Hong Kong Customs said Pakistan Customs formally joined the ValidAP project through a memorandum of understanding signed on May 18, 2026. The agreement was described as an important step in strengthening regional digital cooperation between the two customs administrations.

ValidAP is designed to provide digital verification and authentication of customs-related documents, helping authorities and businesses establish the validity of electronic documentation.

The integration is expected to support more efficient cross-border trade by reducing reliance on physical document verification and improving digital authentication.

The development is part of wider efforts by Pakistan and Hong Kong Customs to expand technology-based cooperation and streamline international trade procedures.
