Rajab Butt Faces Allegations From Aizal’s Mother Over Aid Claims

The mother of Aizal, an 18-month-old girl from Karachi who died last month after suffering injuries in an alleged sexual assault, has accused YouTuber Rajab Butt of falsely claiming that he helped her family.

During a recent interview, a reporter asked the woman about the TikTokers, YouTubers and Vlogger who had visited the family after the case gained widespread attention.

She alleged that Butt visited the family primarily to record a vlog and did not provide the financial support he later claimed to have offered.

“I don’t know where I heard him say that he had helped us off camera,” she said, adding that he had not given the family “even a single rupee.”

The mother also said Butt had promised in front of reporters last Sunday to arrange a flat for the family within a week. She claimed that the deadline had passed without the family being contacted.

However, she added that if Butt does eventually arrange a flat for them, she would publicly acknowledge his support.

The interview came nearly a week after Butt visited the family in Karachi and called for justice for Aizal.

According to police, a teenage relative took Aizal from her home and later returned her unconscious. She subsequently died from her injuries.
