435 Illegal Afghan Nationals Arrested in Southern Balochistan During September Operations

Security forces conducted 15 operations in southern Balochistan during September 2026, resulting in the arrest of 435 Afghan nationals staying in Pakistan without legal documentation, according to security sources.
The operations were carried out in areas including Turbat, Dasht, Panjgur, Dalbandin and Mashkel as part of efforts to prevent illegal activities and address undocumented foreign nationals.
According to security sources, all 435 individuals were sent back to Afghanistan after completion of the relevant legal procedures.
The sources attributed attempts by some Afghan nationals to enter Pakistan illegally to economic difficulties and policies under the Taliban administration.
Security forces said operations against illegal activities would continue in southern Balochistan.
