KP Governor Vows to Restore Peace, Strengthen State Authority in Terrorism-Hit Districts

The governor said the province was rich in natural resources and stressed that collective efforts were essential for its development and prosperity. He announced a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and pledged to promote tourism as part of broader efforts to strengthen the provincial economy. Kundi also urged council members to perform their responsibilities diligently and remain committed to serving the public through their respective institutions.

Kundi said the state’s authority would be strengthened in districts affected by terrorism, adding that efforts would focus on countering the ideology and networks that facilitate militant activities. He said particular attention would be given to providing modern resources and equipment to the police to improve their operational capacity. The governor declined to engage in political debate or blame games, emphasizing that the priority was restoring peace, strengthening law enforcement and ensuring stability across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
