Gold Price in Pakistan Rises Rs900 to Rs440,836 per Tola

13 October, 2026 15:09

The gold price in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, rising by Rs900 per tola in line with gains in the international bullion market, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of gold reached Rs440,836 per tola in the local market after the latest increase. The rise followed a decline of Rs2,100 recorded on Monday, when gold had settled at Rs439,936 per tola.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased on Tuesday. It rose by Rs771 to reach Rs377,945, according to the latest rates issued by the APGJSA.

The increase in local gold prices came as international bullion prices also moved higher. The international rate of gold increased by $9 to reach $4,183 per ounce.

Gold prices in Pakistan generally reflect movements in the international bullion market alongside changes in the local currency exchange rate and domestic market conditions. As a result, changes in global prices can have a direct impact on the rates quoted by local jewellers and bullion dealers.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market. Silver was priced at Rs6,532 per tola on Tuesday, according to the latest market rates.

The latest movement leaves gold prices at elevated levels in Pakistan, with the precious metal continuing to trade above Rs440,000 per tola. Investors and consumers closely monitor international bullion prices, currency movements and local market conditions when assessing the direction of precious metal rates.

The international gold market has remained sensitive to developments affecting global financial markets and investor demand for safe-haven assets. However, daily movements can vary depending on market conditions and changes in international prices.

For local buyers, the latest increase means that purchasing gold jewellery or bullion will cost more than it did at the previous session’s closing rate. The price of jewellery may also differ from the quoted bullion rate because of making charges and other applicable costs.

With Tuesday’s increase, the domestic market recorded a partial recovery after Monday’s Rs2,100 decline. Gold rose by Rs900 per tola, while silver remained unchanged, reflecting mixed movement across Pakistan’s precious metals market.
