OIC Council of Foreign Ministers 47th Session begins in Niger where Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi-led delegation represents Pakistan.
The two-day session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) begins in Niamey, Niger on Friday.

During the two-day session, the forum will discuss a wide range of issues confronting the Muslim world with particular focus on combating Islamophobia.
The session will also discuss disputes of Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir and situation of Muslim minorities in non-OIC countries.
The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will highlight aggravating human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He will also raise the issue of India’s illegal measures to change the demographic structure of the occupied territory.
Indian atrocities in IOJK
Meanwhile, in a video message, the FM said the meeting will deliberate upon the challenges which the Muslim Ummah faced.
Besides, the 47th session of OIC FMs council would discuss other important issues.
He said he will present Pakistan’s stance on the changes taking place on the international landscape.
The Foreign Minister said the Muslims are perturbed over the rising incidents of Islamophobia.
Moreover, he said Pakistan has a very categorical and clear stance on the matter.
While alluding to the Indian atrocities in the IOJK and Indian state terrorism in Pakistan, the FM underlined it an appropriate forum to highlight the Indian atrocities against innocent Kashmiri people.
He further said that on the sidelines of the meeting, he will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the Islamic countries.
