FM Shah Mahmood meets UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Dubai.

According to the government of Pakistan’s media, both held meeting in Dubai late Thursday.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and UAE’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed issues of mutual interest.

Both sides discussed promotion of bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.

Later, Qureshi also tweeted following the meeting.

He felt it always a pleasure to meet H.H Abdullah bin Zayed.

Furthermore, he tweeted he discussed avenues for deepening Pak-UAE relations,”

In his tweet, he said that welfare of our 1.6 million strong Diaspora in the UAE came under discussion.

He further underlined the strengthening of people-to-people ties a cornerstone of our bilateral relationship.

Qureshi said Pakistan and UAE enjoyed deep, historic and fraternal ties.

Moreover, he noted UAE stood by Pakistan in every difficult hour.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Qureshi meets UAE PM (Prime Minister) Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai today (Thursday).

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is also serving as Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The FM Qureshi conveyed warm regards of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, also the Ruler of Dubai.

According to Foreign Office’s press statement,  the Prime Minister of the UAE warmly reciprocated the sentiments,

Foreign Minister Qureshi exchanged views with the Prime Minister of UAE on a range of issues of mutual interest.

He discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
