The UN HC issued statement about situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan welcomed the concern the UN expressed.
He noted the United Nations lamented the Indian move for change of demography of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Moreover, he unequivocally stated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are not striving for autonomy.
But, he said Kashmiris in IOJK were striving for the UN-sponsored plebiscite to decide their future.
Masood Khan further underlined Jammu and Kashmir as a Muslim majority state and not a part of India.
He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been offering unprecedented sacrifices.
And they do so for the realization of their democratic right to self-determination and not for any sort of autonomy within Indian constitution.
