Pakistan closes Torkham border crossing from 06 pm today (Wednesday).

From now, it will remain closed till 20th of this month for Afghan pedestrians.

Pakistan closes Torkham border crossing

The government of Pakistan made this decisions as safety measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The Pak Afghan Torkham border will now remain closed till May 20, 2021.

According to official sources, government allows Pakistani’s coming from Afghanistan after corona screening.

However, the government also require such Pakistan is to undergo quarantine for 14 days if tested positive.

Similarly, the govt also allowed Afghan Refugees to cross the border for their native land Afghanistan.

However, import and export activities will continue round the clock on the border.
