Finance Minister presents Rs8487bn federal fiscal budget for 2021-21.
Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin on Friday presented the Federal Budget 2021-22 in the National Assembly.

Amid opposition’s sloganeering, he began reading out the salient features of the budget.
Shouting marred his speech.
However, he continues his budget presentation. He further said that many challenges came our way this year. But we tackled them all under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Shaukat Tarin said that when the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) came into power, the previous governments had taken many loans.
However, he claimed that no government had faced such a situation in the past which PTI govt faced.
He said the current account deficit stood at $ 20 billion.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier presided over a meeting of Federal Cabinet in Islamabad.
The Cabinet discussed the budgetary proposals for the next fiscal year.
