Interior Ministry decides to register all foreigners in country, according to Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid.

He stated this, while talking to media persons in Islamabad today.

He said that the government has decided to register all foreigners residing in the country.

Besides, the interior ministry decided to facilitate all those Pakistanis stuck at Afghanistan side of Torkham border for their return.

The Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said they have also arrested persons having fake Afghan visas.

Around 40 to 50 thousands living in the country have no record for the last 70 years.

Therefore, they would register every foreigner.

He said that online visa service initiated and cases forwarded to the Cabinet.

Within 30 days, he said that visas are issued to the applicants.

More than 4,000 Pakistanis remain stuck at Torkham border. They want to go to Saudi Arabia or Middle East countries.

He said he would talk with NCOC and other concerned authorities to facilitate them for their return to the country.

The minister said that rapid coronavirus testing would be conducted and those declared negative would be brought back to the country while NCOC and FC would decide about those declared positive.

Furthermore, he also appreciated the efforts of NCOC for effective strategy to combat pandemic.

Moreover, he said we would have to improve performance.

The minister said that drug was being supplied in Pakistan from other countries.

He vowed the government would take strict action against those involved in drug peddling activities.

He said that no dialogue possible with India until New Delhi restores the autonomous status of Jammu and Kashmir.
