Federal govt removes IG Islamabad

Islamabad-The Federal government has removed Ahsan Younas as Islamabad Inspector General of Police on Saturday.
According to announcement issued, Ahsan Younas, a BS-20 of Police Service of Pakistan will be serving Punjab government. Now,Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, an officer of BS-20 will be performing his duties as IG Islamabad. First he was serving as head of National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA).
Meanwhile, Sohail Zafar Chattha, an officer of BS-19 of Police Service of Pakistan will also be serving Islamabad Police. Muhammad Faisal, an officer of BS-19 of Police Service of Pakistan will also be performing his duties in Islamabad.
