Swift, Cultus New Taxes for Filers, Non-Filers After Price Hike – May 2025

Pak Suzuki has raised the prices of its popular cars, the Cultus and Swift, making them more expensive for buyers. Along with the price hike, the taxes on these cars have also been updated, adding extra costs for people planning to buy them.

Both the Cultus and Swift are well-known for their good resale value, fuel efficiency, modern features, and reliable performance. Even though the prices have gone up, these cars are still in demand. However, the higher prices may force some buyers to rethink their budgets.

Here’s a breakdown of the new price changes:

  • The Cultus VXR price has gone up by Rs372,000.
  • The Cultus VXL and AGS variants have increased by Rs72,000.
  • All versions of the Cultus now come with safety features like airbags, ABS brakes, and ISO-FIX child seat anchors.
  • The Swift GL MT price has increased by Rs80,000.

These prices already include taxes but do not include Advance Income Tax. Also, prices can change without any prior announcement, and dealers have been told to inform buyers accordingly.

  • Swift GL (CVT): Rs68,400 (Filer) / Rs205,200 (Non-Filer)
  • Swift GLX (CVT): Rs70,785 (Filer) / Rs212,355 (Non-Filer)
  • Swift GLX (CVT) Two-Tone: Rs70,785 (Filer) / Rs212,355 (Non-Filer)
