KIA Sportage, Picanto Price Increase – July 2025 Update

Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC), the official assembler and distributor of Kia vehicles in Pakistan, has raised prices on several models effective July 1, 2025.

The company attributed the price hike to economic challenges, including the new NEV Levy introduced in the federal budget, depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee, and higher global shipping costs.

According to the official notification, major increases include a Rs700,000 jump in the price of Sorento HEV AWD, Sorento HEV AWD – EMI, and the Kia Carnival. Meanwhile, the Picanto AT price went up by Rs150,000, marking a relatively modest adjustment.

KIA Sportage New Prices:

• Sportage L Alpha: PKR 8,899,000 (↑ Rs400,000)
• Sportage L FWD: PKR 10,499,000 (↑ Rs500,000)
• Sportage L HEV: PKR 11,599,000 (↑ Rs600,000)

Complete Rate List:

The updated price list covers multiple models, with increases ranging from Rs95,000 to Rs700,000. Interestingly, prices for the EV5 Air, EV5 Earth, and EV9 remain unchanged at PKR 18.5 million, PKR 23.5 million, and PKR 43.2 million, respectively.

“This price revision is applicable to all orders invoiced from July 1, 2025.” Customers will also be responsible for any additional government taxes or currency-related price adjustments at the time of delivery.
