Toyota Yaris Expected Prices in Pakistan After New Taxes
Toyota Yaris 1.3 all variants installment plans - August 2025
Pakistanโs auto sector is once again facing a wave of price hikes, with Toyota expected to raise the prices of its Yaris sedan lineup. Following recent increases by Suzuki and Kia, this move is part of a wider trend among automakers adjusting prices due to the 2025โ26 federal budget.
Yaris to See 2% Price Hike
Toyota Yaris, a popular choice among Pakistani car buyers, is likely to face a 2% price increase across all variants, adding to the financial strain on consumers amid ongoing economic challenges.

Climate Levy Adds to Car Costs
The government has also introduced a “one-time Climate Levy”โa new tax that applies to petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles. The tax amount varies depending on engine size and further increases the cost of owning a vehicle.
Hybrid Cars Not Exempt
Even hybrid models like the Toyota Corolla Cross and Kia Sportage Hybrid will not be spared from the new tax, as they still rely on fuel and have limited electric-only range. This means they will be taxed similarly to conventional fuel-powered cars.
Yaris Still a Practical Choice
Despite price increases, Toyota Yaris remains one of the top-selling subcompact cars in Pakistan. Known for fuel efficiency (11โ15 km/l), reliable transmission, and low maintenance costs, it continues to be a viable option for daily commutersโthough it lacks in performance and handling.
