Changan Pakistan Announces Price Hike for July 2025

Changan announces big discounts on many cars - check details
Changan Pakistan, in partnership with Master Changan Motor Limited, has officially increased the prices of its vehicles from July 1, 2025. The hike affects popular models such as Oshan X7, Alsvin, Karvaan, Sherpa, and others.
This is the third price hike for some Changan models in 2025. The adjustment comes in response to the 2025-26 federal budget, which has introduced the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) adoption levy, also referred to as the Climate Support Levy.
Reasons Behind the Price Increase
The main causes for the hike include:
- NEV / Climate Support Levy:
- 1% for vehicles up to 1300cc
- 2% for 1301cc to 1800cc
- 3% for vehicles above 1800cc
- (Electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles are exempt)
- Rising fuel prices
- Currency devaluation
- Higher import and production costs
- Market-wide pricing shifts by competitors like Pak Suzuki and Kia
