22 September, 2025 18:52

Honda has launched its first fixed-battery electric motorcycle, the Honda WN7, setting a new milestone in the global bike market.

The launch reflects Honda’s long-term plan to make all its motorcycles carbon-neutral by the 2040s, and the entire company carbon-neutral by 2050.

A New Era of Electric Riding

Honda, known for more than 75 years of two-wheel innovation, has placed the WN7 in its “Fun” segment. The company says the bike offers high performance, zero emissions, and an exciting riding experience.

The name WN7 comes from:

  • “W” for Be the Wind

  • “N” for Naked

  • “7” for the output class

The bike promises a smooth, quiet ride while still giving the thrill of traditional motorcycles.

Honda WN7 Specifications

  • Power: 18kW water-cooled motor producing 100Nm torque (equivalent to a 600cc petrol bike).

  • Battery: Fixed lithium-ion battery with a range of 130km+.

  • Charging:

    • Rapid charging (CCS2): 20% to 80% in 30 minutes.

    • Wall box charger (6kVA): Full charge in 3 hours.

  • Features: 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync for navigation, calls, and music via smartphone.

Honda WN7 price in Pakistan

The Honda WN7 is priced at £12,999 (around Rs4,959,500) in Pakistan. However, Honda has not yet announced the official launch date for the Pakistani market.

Honda also plans to expand its electric lineup further, from daily commuter bikes to high-performance models.
