Top-Selling cars in Pakistan – Production and sales list (March 2026 Update)

KARACHI: Pakistan’s auto market showed strong growth in February 2026 as car sales increased sharply across the country. The rise in sales shows that demand for vehicles is improving and the auto industry is gaining momentum again.

According to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), sales of cars, light commercial vehicles (LCVs), vans, and jeeps reached 17,121 units in February 2026. This is 41.7% higher than the 12,084 units sold in February 2025.

Top Selling Cars in February 2026

The Suzuki Alto remained the most popular car in Pakistan. A total of 4,236 units were sold in February, while its total sales in 2026 reached 43,798 units.

The Toyota Corolla, Yaris, and Corolla Cross ranked second with 2,846 units sold in February and 24,475 total sales this year.

Honda Civic and Honda City were third with 1,938 units sold, followed by Haval H6 with 1,627 units, and Suzuki Swift with 1,467 units.

Other notable vehicles included Toyota Fortuner (715 units), Suzuki Every (564 units), Suzuki Cultus (506 units), Hyundai Tucson (363 units), and Hyundai Porter (380 units).

Overall Production and Sales

Across all vehicle categories, Pakistan’s automotive industry produced 157,543 vehicles in February 2026, while 159,512 units were sold. Sales slightly exceeded production, which shows strong market demand.

Performance of Major Car Companies

Toyota Indus Motor Company continued to lead in the 1300cc and above category. The company produced 2,846 units of Corolla, Yaris, and Corolla Cross in February 2026, compared with 2,074 units in the same month last year. Sales reached 3,102 units, showing strong demand.

Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan produced 1,938 units of Civic and City in February 2026. This was slightly higher than 1,838 units produced in February 2025. The company sold 1,861 units, showing balanced production and demand.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company also saw mixed results. Production of the Suzuki Swift increased significantly to 1,467 units, more than double the 633 units produced last year. Production of the Suzuki Cultus also increased to 506 units, compared with 289 units in February 2025.

However, the Suzuki WagonR remained discontinued, and no units were produced during the current fiscal year.

Overall, the strong increase in sales shows that Pakistan’s auto industry is recovering and consumer demand for vehicles is growing again.
