Who is Elijah Schaffer? Podcaster Sued by Kash Patel’s Girlfriend Alexis Wilkins for $5 Million

11 November, 2025 16:15

American podcaster Elijah Schaffer has been sued by Alexis Wilkins, who is known to be the girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel. Wilkins has filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against Schaffer, accusing him of spreading a “malicious lie” that she was an agent of a foreign government.

According to court documents, the lawsuit was filed on October 28, 2025, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Wilkins claimed that Schaffer’s post on X (formerly Twitter) falsely suggested she was a Mossad agent sent to manipulate Patel.

What Led to the Lawsuit?

The controversy began after Schaffer quote-tweeted a photo of Kash Patel and Alexis Wilkins. In the photo, Wilkins was seen in a red cocktail dress standing close to Patel. The original post discussed Israeli Mossad “honeypot” operations.

Although Schaffer did not write any caption or directly mention her name, Wilkins stated in the lawsuit that the image itself implied she was a spy. The post received over 1.5 million views and nearly 38,000 likes, causing widespread speculation.

Her lawyers called the post “malicious and false,” claiming that Schaffer’s action was intentional and aimed to harm her image and reputation. The lawsuit described the post as a “defamatory act” that brought Wilkins humiliation and mental stress.

Elijah Schaffer’s Background

Elijah Schaffer is a conservative journalist and podcaster, best known for hosting Slightly Offensive with Elijah Schaffer. He gained online fame during the George Floyd protests in 2020, where he reported from the ground.

He was also present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and posted a controversial tweet from Nancy Pelosi’s office. Schaffer later deleted the post, saying he was there as a reporter, not a participant.

In 2022, Schaffer was fired from The Blaze, a conservative media outlet, for allegedly groping a female co-worker during a film screening in Dallas. The Blaze confirmed his termination, citing a violation of company policy.

After leaving The Blaze, Schaffer launched his independent media platform RiftTV and started contributing to The Gateway Pundit. He currently has over 846,000 followers on X.

Schaffer’s Lawyer Responds

Schaffer’s lawyer, Oneir Llopiz, responded to the lawsuit in a statement to The Grayzone. He said he had “never seen a lawsuit like this” and defended Schaffer’s right to share public information.

Llopiz argued that public figures like Kash Patel should expect public scrutiny, especially when their personal lives could raise security concerns. He also questioned why Patel hadn’t intervened to stop the lawsuit, suggesting it could make him a witness in the case.

Other Lawsuits Filed by Wilkins

This is not the first time Alexis Wilkins has taken legal action for defamation.
On October 31, 2025, she also filed a separate lawsuit against Samuel Parker, a former U.S. Senate candidate, for spreading similar claims online.

Earlier in August, she sued Kyle Seraphin, a former FBI agent, accusing him of maliciously spreading lies that she was an agent of a foreign government sent to compromise the FBI Director.

Wilkins, who is also known as a country music singer, said that these false claims have severely damaged her career and personal life.
