Country music star Parker McCollum has removed a member of his touring crew, Joel Schoepf, after Schoepf was arrested on charges related to online solicitation of a minor under the age of 14.

Schoepf was working as McCollum’s assistant road manager at the time of his arrest on November 13, according to a report by Taste of Country.
McCollum’s team confirmed that the singer acted immediately and fired him as soon as the allegations came forward.

Authorities say Schoepf contacted Alex Rosen, the founder of an anti-predator organization, believing Rosen was a 13-year-old boy.
Schoepf then agreed to meet him at a McDonald’s in New Braunfels, Texas.

When he arrived, he was taken into custody by the New Braunfels Police Department and later booked into Comal County Jail.
Taste of Country verified that his bail was set at $50,000, and he was released the next day.

Schoepf is now facing a second-degree felony charge for online solicitation of a minor.
