PSX Reaches New Heights: Crosses 143,000 Milestone for First Time

The Pakistan Stock Exchange has achieved another milestone, with the index reaching the highest level in the country’s history.

On the second day of the business week, the stock exchange witnessed a bullish trend. At the start of trading, the KSE-100 index recorded an increase of 1,119 points, pushing the index to an all-time high of 143,172 points.

Yesterday as well, the KSE-100 index saw a significant surge and crossed the 142,000 mark.

On the other hand, the US dollar has further depreciated in the interbank market. According to the Exchange Companies Association, the dollar dropped by 12 paisas, bringing its interbank rate down to Rs. 282.54.
