US Dollar Sees Slight Decline in Interbank Market
The US dollar recorded a slight decrease in value in the interbank market. According to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, “the dollar dropped by 2 paisas.”
During the current business week, the dollar was trading at 280.15 PKR in the interbank market.
Experts attribute the minor decline in the dollar’s value to stability in the foreign exchange market and a reduction in import payments.
Meanwhile, currency dealers have stated that “in the coming days, fluctuations in the dollar’s value will continue to be linked to global financial conditions and local economic policies.”
