Gold prices drop sharply in Pakistan – Feb 2, 2026: Check new rates

Gold prices have dropped sharply in both local and international markets, recording the third biggest fall in history. The sudden decline has caused concern among investors.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold in Pakistan has fallen by Rs. 21,500 per tola. After this drop, gold is now priced at Rs. 490,362 per tola. The price of 10 grams of gold also went down by Rs. 18,433 and is now Rs. 420,406.

In just three days, gold prices in Pakistan have dropped by a total of Rs. 82,500 per tola. Silver prices also declined, with silver falling by Rs. 602 per tola to reach Rs. 8,405.

The global gold market also saw a massive fall. Gold prices dropped sharply within a short time, causing huge losses for investors worldwide. In the international market, gold prices fell by $825 per ounce over three days. On the latest trading day alone, gold dropped by $215 and reached $4,676 per ounce.

The sudden fall has shaken global markets and resulted in losses worth trillions of dollars for investors.
