Gold prices drop in Pakistan – May 29, 2026: Check new rates

Gold prices in Pakistan went down on Friday following a decline in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs500 to reach Rs474,862. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also fell by Rs429 to Rs407,117.

Earlier on Tuesday, gold had already seen a bigger drop of Rs2,400 per tola, bringing the price to Rs475,362.

In the global market, gold prices also moved down by $5, reaching $4,525 per ounce with a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, Silver prices also decreased in Pakistan. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs83 to Rs8,034.

Market experts say local prices usually follow international trends, so any change in global gold rates directly impacts the Pakistani market.
