Flour prices rise in Pakistan – check rates

KARACHI: Flour prices in Pakistan have increased further, according to official data, with Karachi now becoming the most expensive city for wheat flour.

The data shows that the price of a 20-kilogram flour bag has reached up to Rs2,800 in different markets. In Karachi, citizens are also paying up to Rs2,800, the highest in the country.

City-Wise Flour Prices

Official figures show the following prices for a 20kg flour bag across major cities:

• Peshawar: up to Rs2,750
• Islamabad: up to Rs2,733
• Rawalpindi: up to Rs2,707
• Quetta and Bannu: up to Rs2,700
• Hyderabad: up to Rs2,600
• Khuzdar and Larkana: up to Rs2,400
• Faisalabad: up to Rs2,350
• Gujranwala: up to Rs2,333
• Multan: up to Rs2,267
• Lahore: Rs2,250
