In a major development for Pakistan’s automotive industry, both Kia Pakistan and Peugeot Pakistan — operating under the umbrella of Lucky Motor Corporation — have officially announced significant price reductions on select SUV and crossover models. The revised pricing is set to offer meaningful financial relief to buyers who have long been eyeing these vehicles but were held back by their previous price points.

The headline reductions include a Rs 1 million cut on the Kia Sportage Alpha and reductions of up to Rs 1.3 million on Peugeot 2008 variants — changes that are expected to considerably shake up the competitive mid-range SUV and crossover segment in Pakistan.

Kia Sportage Alpha — New Price Effective June 22, 2026

Kia Pakistan has confirmed a price reduction specifically for the Kia Sportage Alpha, which serves as the base trim of the Sportage lineup in the Pakistani market. According to information shared with the PakWheels team, the new revised prices are applicable to all invoices issued on or after June 22, 2026.

The Kia Sportage Alpha is powered by a 2,000cc non-hybrid petrol engine and represents the most accessible entry point into the Sportage range — now made even more attractive with a full Rs 1 million reduction in its ex-factory price.

Peugeot 2008 — Both Variants Receive Big Price Cuts

Peugeot Pakistan has simultaneously announced a sweeping price revision covering both variants of the Peugeot 2008 crossover. Lucky Motor Corporation, which manages both the Kia and Peugeot brands in Pakistan, confirmed to the PakWheels team that prices have been reduced by up to Rs 13 lacs on the top-spec Allure variant and Rs 12 lacs on the base Active variant.

All prices listed above are ex-factory prices. With the Peugeot 2008 Active now opening at just Rs 5.799 million, the European crossover enters a highly competitive price bracket, directly challenging the MG ZS, Kia Stonic, and Honda HR-V in the Pakistani market.
