KP Govt Increases Employees Travel Allowance by 50%
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has increased the convenience allowance for its employees by 50 percent, with the new rates effective from July 1, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the KP Finance Department, the revised allowance will benefit government employees from Grade 1 to Grade 20 and above.
Employees in Grade 1 to 4 will now receive Rs2,677 per month, up from Rs1,785. Those in Grade 5 to 10 will get Rs2,898, while employees in Grade 11 to 15 will receive Rs4,284 per month.
Meanwhile, officers in Grade 16 to 20 and above will receive Rs7,500 per month, compared with the previous allowance of Rs5,000.

Separately, the Sindh cabinet has also approved an increase in the convenience allowance for provincial government employees in Grade 1 to 16.
