Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Thursday, following an increase in international gold rates. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs1,000 per tola, reaching Rs427,436.
The price of 10-gram gold also went up by Rs857, settling at Rs366,457.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $10, reaching $4,050 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. The price of silver fell by Rs76 per tola, bringing it down to Rs6,215.
The latest movement in local gold prices came in line with the rise in international gold rates, while silver recorded a decline during the day.
