Gold Price Rises by Rs4,200 per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, following a rise in international gold prices.

According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs4,200 to reach Rs463,936.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs3,601, reaching Rs397,750.

On Tuesday, gold was priced at Rs459,736 per tola after gaining Rs2,400 during the day.

In the international market, gold prices increased by $42 to reach $4,415 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver prices also increased in the local market. The price of silver rose by Rs146 to reach Rs7,111 per tola.

The latest increase reflects the upward trend in international precious metal prices, which continues to influence rates in Pakistan.
