Class 9 Urdu Compulsory Exam: Lahore Board Releases Model Paper for 2025

08 April, 2025 15:48

The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) is prepared to hold the annual Urdu compulsory examination for Class 9 students on April 10, 2025, as part of the first set of annual examinations to be conducted for this year. The exam, which consists of 75 marks, will consist of two parts, Objective and Subjective, and is to be completed in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
To aid students in preparation, the Lahore Board has published model papers on its official website. Model papers give students an idea of how the exam will appear and assist them in organizing their time and preparing for the exam. In addition to model papers, many students are also consulting guess papers and past papers in order to support their focus for studying for the examination.
However, teachers emphasize that guess papers can be useful, but it is essential to have a well-planned study strategy ahead of time—and to consider the General Science section specifically, this will increase the likelihood of obtaining a good score in that area.
The examination will consist of 15 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the Objective part, with each question carrying one mark. In the Subjective part of the exam students will be required to answer nine main questions which will account for a total of 60 marks.
