Punjab increases registration fees for matric – Check latest fee

Education boards in Punjab have announced a new registration fee structure for students of classes 9 and 10, which will be followed from 2025 to 2027.

Now, the total registration fee has risen to Rs. 2,910 which is a substantial increase. In addition to the registration fee, there is a school fee of Rs. 500. Some schools may be charging an additional Rs. 300 to Rs. 500 for other fees. This fee increase is for both government and private schools.

The registration for the 2025 session will start on May 29, 2025, with no late fee. But if students register between May 30 and June 13, they will have to pay a late fee of Rs. 600.

There will only be registration for students who are at least 11 years and 2 months until August 1, 2025. It will be online registration, but schools will still need to provide a hard copy of the forms sent to the board’s office.

Students must also provide their B-Form during registration.

Here is the breakdown of the new fee structure

• Rs. 1,100 – Registration Fee
• Rs. 630 – Processing Fee
• Rs. 300 – Board Development Fund
• Rs. 180 – Scholarship Fee
• Rs. 200 – Sports Fee
