Punjab boards to announce 11th class results on October 15
The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced that the annual exams for 1st and 2nd-year students (Class XI and XII) will begin on May 5, 2025. The full date sheet has also been issued.
According to the schedule, the first paper for Class 11 will take place on May 5, and the exams will continue until May 29. Each paper will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
This year, around 126,500 students will take part in the intermediate exams, including 34,500 students who will appear in the evening shift.
To manage the exams, 182 examination centers have been set up across Karachi. Out of these, 36 centers have been marked as sensitive, and Section 144 has been enforced in those areas for extra security.
Due to the expected hot weather, the board has requested support from Rescue 1122 in case of heat-related issues during the exams.
The Chairman of the Intermediate Board stated that all efforts are being made to conduct the exams fairly and securely. Special vigilance teams from the College Education Department and the Board will monitor the process to prevent cheating and ensure transparency.
