BISE Lahore issue update on intermediate, matric exams 2025

The Lahore Board (BISE) has announced that class 12 theory exams and matric practical exams will be held as per schedule starting May 8, 2025.

This update comes after the May 7 exams were postponed due to security concerns caused by rising tensions between Pakistan and India.

According to the official notice, the following intermediate (Part 2) theory papers will take place on May 8 as planned:

• Morning session: Chemistry, Geology, Health & Physical Education

• Evening session: Chemistry, Statistics, and Library Science

The matric practical exams for Biology, Computer Science, and Food & Nutrition will also be held as per the original schedule.

Students are advised to:

• Reach their assigned exam centers or labs on time

• Follow the timing given on their roll number slips or date sheets

The board also mentioned that a new schedule for the postponed May 7 papers will be shared later.
