KP Government Announces Summer Vacations for Schools

Peshawar – May 21, 2025: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced the official schedule for summer vacations in all public and private schools of the province.

According to the Education Department’s notification, schools in summer and winter zones will follow different schedules based on the weather conditions in each area.

Summer Zone Schools:

• Primary schools will be closed for summer break from June 1 to August 31, 2025.

• Middle, high, and higher secondary schools will have their holidays from June 15 to August 31, 2025.

Winter Zone Schools:

• All schools, including primary and higher levels, will observe vacations from July 1 to July 31, 2025.

The Education Department stated that this decision was made to protect children and staff from the rising summer temperatures in the province. School administrators are advised to follow the schedule strictly.

Parents are also requested to stay updated with school notices and make arrangements for their children’s safety and learning during this time.
