Sindh announces new school timings after summer vacations

All public and private schools in Sindh will reopen from August 1 (Friday) as the summer holidays end on July 31. The Sindh School Education & Literacy Department has also released new school and college timings.

These timings apply to single and double-shift institutions at primary, secondary, and college levels.

Timings for Schools

Single Shift Primary Schools:

• Mon to Thurs & Sat: 8:00 am – 1:30 pm

• Friday: 8:00 am – 12:00 noon

Double Shift Primary Schools:

• First Shift:

  • Mon to Thurs & Sat: 7:30 am – 12:30 pm

  • Friday: 7:30 am – 12:00 noon

• Second Shift:

  • Mon to Sat: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Single Shift Secondary & Higher Secondary Schools:

• Mon to Thurs & Sat: 8:00 am – 1:30 pm

• Friday: 8:00 am – 12:00 noon

Double Shift Secondary Schools:

• First Shift:

  • Mon to Thurs & Sat: 7:30 am – 12:30 pm

  • Friday: 7:30 am – 10:30 am

• Second Shift:

  • Mon to Sat: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Timings for Colleges

Morning Colleges:

• Mon to Thurs & Sat: 8:30 am – 1:30 pm

• Friday: 8:30 am – 11:30 am

Evening Colleges:

• Mon to Thurs & Sat: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

• Friday: 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm

All educational institutions are expected to follow these new schedules strictly starting August 1, 2025.
