New school timings after winter holidays – Check schedule

As a severe cold wave continues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government has announced new school timings for after the winter holidays. The changes will start from January 16.

• Primary schools in the plains will now run from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.

• Middle, high, and higher secondary schools will operate from 9:00 am to 2:20 pm.

The revised timings aim to protect students from the harsh cold while keeping their academic schedule on track.

Earlier, the Sindh government also announced new school timings to help students cope with the cold. All public and private schools will now start at 9:00 am, but closing times will remain the same. These timings will stay in effect until January 26.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government extended winter holidays by a week, with schools reopening from January 19.
