Karachi board announces matric exams from April 7

Karachi, March 19, 2026: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has announced that matric exams for classes 9 and 10 will begin from April 7. The decision gives clarity to thousands of students preparing for their annual exams.

The board also shared important details about form submission. Students have been given a final chance to submit their examination forms before the deadline.

According to officials, March 31 is the last date to submit exam forms. No forms will be accepted after this date under any condition.

Students who missed earlier deadlines can still apply by paying a late fee of Rs2,500. This is the final opportunity to complete registration for the exams.

The board has directed all affiliated schools to submit forms without delay. Authorities said schools must act quickly to avoid problems for students.

Students can submit their forms online for both Science and General groups. However, this facility will remain available only until March 31.

Officials have clearly stated that there will be no extension in the deadline. Once the date passes, the process will be closed completely.

Students are advised to complete their forms as soon as possible to avoid missing the exams.
