‘Ishq Murshid’ season two confirmed

Blockbuster drama ‘Ishq Murshid‘ is getting a sequel as actor Ali Gul Mallah has confirmed that a second season is in the works.

The popular drama ended last month, gaining massive following and left viewers eager for more.

Mallah, who got fame for his signature catchphrase “Bhale” in the drama, confirmed the development during an interview.

“All the characters from the first part will return, and I’m excited to be a part of it,” he said.

He played comical character Fazal Bakhsh.

Mallah acknowledged the importance of commercial success in the drama industry, while emphasizing the significance of adapting to audience preferences.

The cast also hinted as the season 2 in the final episode’s last scene featuring lead actor Bilal Abbas Khan.

He confirmed that this wasn’t just for show, revealing that all the characters from season 1, including Fazal Bakhsh, are expected to return.

The writer of the drama, Abdul Khaliq Khan, had earlier hinted at a second season, sharing that the story was always intended to explore the journey of a boy trying to make his loved ones happy and the challenges he faces along the way.
