Kangana Ranaut slapped by airport security staff

Bollywood actress and recently elected Lok Sabha member Kangana Ranaut was slapped by security personnel at the airport.

According to Indian media reports, the newly-elected member of Indian parliament and actress Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a female constable of the Central Industrial Security Force at Chandigarh Airport for allegedly disrespecting farmers.The reports added that Kangana Ranaut was about to  board a flight to New Delhi when the incident took place.

The constable has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur. She has been suspended and a first information report (FIR) has been registered against her.

It should be noted that Kangana Ranaut stood in the election from her native Mandi in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Kangana won by defeating Congress member Vikramaditya Singh.
