Bushra Ansari opens up on domestic violence against women

Senior actress Bushra Ansari has raised her voice against domestic violence and said that a woman whose husband raises his hands on her should leave such a life partner.

Bushra Ansari expressed her displeasure on her YouTube channel while talking about the violence done by husbands on wives including anchor Ayesha Jahanzeb.

The actress said that violence is not only physical but also mental in which a girl is subjected to mental torture, anxiety and pressure. In mental violence girls are not even able to tell their relatives, she added.

Giving an example of her first marriage, the actress said that although she was not physically abused, she also took time to express herself. She advises that in today’s era, girls who are independent and educated, they should get out of the violent life if they can.

Bushra further said that if a woman’s husband twists and pinches her arm once, then such women should understand that their husband’s hand is now open. Such women for themselves, for their children, children and respect should get out of this life if they can.

“I am against such parents who send their daughters back home even after being tortured,” Bushra Ansari said.

She further said that if the husbands also do not like their wives, they should leave them but not kill them, nor torture them. Women should also not leave their houses over petty issues but also tell the husbands that if they do violence, they can leave the house.
